blogger tutorial...{sunburst mirror}

Hands down this looks like the best DIY sunburst mirror EVER!

I've pinned a ton of tutorials but I think the key to this one looking so fab
is the mirror she used...nice chunky frame as opposed to some I've seen
that used just a plain mirror with no frame at all.
Its all in the details right?

Here's her list of supplies:

*existing round mirror

*8 packages of 18" long wood shims ($3.25/package at Home Depot)

*piece of wood for the back of the sunburst
(hers was a scrap piece of plywood ~ 20x20)

*Wood glue

*Gorilla glue

*Primer spray paint (she used white)

*Glaze (she used Lowes Valspar metal & patina glaze in pewter)

*paint brush for glaze

*hanging hardware (she took the hardware off the round mirror and reused it)

 I don't know about you but I can't wait
to buy some wood shims and get my sunburst on!
