so smooth

I don't know about you but I've been kind of out of whack lately.
The scale is up a few pounds and I'm hoping
its muscle from bootcamp. HA!
But something tells me its the birthday cake
we've been eating around here.

In any event its on my list of goals
('cause my DH and I are both nerds and that's how we roll)
to cook more and eat more healthy.

This isn't exactly my list but its a good one...

BTW...I finally officially joined pinterest after
many months of stalking perusing it daily!
Its such a great source for eye candy and
awesome this one
I found for a green smoothie

  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • 1 cup fresh cut pineapple
  • 2 handfuls of baby spinach
  • water
  • ice (if desired)
Just pop it all in the blender...I put mine on "liquefy"

Here's what it looks like:

The recipe above makes two big glasses...
(more or less depending on the water/ice)
I've been drinking one for lunch and
saving the other in the refrigerator until around 3pm
when I usually get a chocolate craving. I'm not a
big fan of bananas but this is so good and so easy.
I promise.
Honestly I've had more energy in the last two days
 than I can remember having in a long time.
Now if I can just stay away from my
beloved white rice and bread.
Oh and birthday cake too.
