So I get this email...

the subject title is "blog."

Uh oh, this can't be good I think to myself....
its from my sister.
Crap. Um, what have I written about lately?
I'm a great secret keeper...can't be anything like that.
Here's what she said...

"Love the blog . . . door is awesome!  Sad but Halloween is my favorite holiday! I'm soooooooooooooo proud of you!  Love the blog on life lessons . . . . You're a better person  . . . look how great your relationship is now!  We always learn from our mistakes . . .
telling you this because I love you  . . . you & all get into a wreck and some of the letters are missing . . . the apostrophe is holding the place of the missing letters . . .that's the way i teach contractions . . . but I've seen y'all and ya'll . . . we need to check on this . . .
Off to book club . . .in my book club, we read wine labels!"

I LOVE that girl!
We're a mess when we get together...
always laughing and cutting the fool
I could do a weeks worth of posts about how much I love her.
Growing up we didn't always get along.
That will go down as one of the biggest regrets of my life.
She's five years less wise younger than me and she's a teacher.
Hence the discussion about the correct spelling of "ya'll".

I went to pinterest
{isn't that what you do to get info now?}
and seems like  it could go either way...

See what I mean?

I think I stand corrected though...
according to spell check I'm wrong too.
I've just chosen to ignore it when it corrects me
much like how I don't wear my glasses
when I'm looking in the bathroom mirror
so my wrinkles don't send me into a tail spin.

ya'll or y' do you roll?
Either way...

and if you're not from the South
then just throw a "ya'll" or "y'all"
into any conversation
to make people think you are.

  1. You are so funny! That's why I love ya!-- Dude! No regrets! We weren't ready to be this close when we were younger. We found each other when we needed each other most!
