everything's better with butter

Another little southern-ism in case you'd never heard it before.
I just pinned a recipe for "million dollar spaghetti"
that calls for a whole stick of butter.
How could it be bad right?

Pinned Image

1 lb. of Ground Beef
1 can of Spaghetti Sauce
8 oz of Cream Cheese
1/4 cup of Sour Cream
1/2 lb. of Cottage Cheese
Whole Stick of Butter
8 oz. of Noodles
Bag of Sharp Chedder Cheese
I'm sure its tasty but just reading it makes
me want to cut everything in half
and make "half a million dollar spaghetti"
{you know to save me from going up a pound. or two}
{or have a heart attack}

In a nutshell while you the noodles are boiling
brown the meat, drain, then add the sauce.
Combine the cream cheese, cottage cheese, and sour cream.
Place slices of butter in the bottom of the baking dish.
Drain the noodles when done and cover the bottom of the dish.
Add a layer of the white cheese/cream mixture.
Add more noodles and butter.
Cover these layers with the meaty sauce mixture.
Bake for 30 minutes at 350.
Sprinkle shredded cheese {I'd use an italian type cheese}
and bake until melted and bubbly.
