kitchen love

Many of you have asked about our kitchen reno...
we're due to start
{and hopefully finish}
the first week of August.
The Hicks pendants I ordered have finally arrived.
I just have to order the farmhouse sink and faucet.
I saw this kitchen today on a well dressed home
awdh curry kitchen
and it made my heart go pitter patter.
We plan to use the same herringbone backsplash pattern
and a similar bridge faucet.
Looks like a marble countertop doesn't it?
We're using Caesarstone in "London Grey" to achieve
 the look of marble
without the maintenance.
Here's a look at the family room of the same house...

and I spy what looks to be the same coffee table
that is due to arrive at our house any day now from Wisteria.
I reminded my husband about the delivery.
His response: "what new coffee table?"
I promise I told him about it.
Or did I?
And if you love a good before and after like I do
be sure and click over to a cottage mix to see this gorgeous kitchen
Its a swoon worthy mix of high and low products.
and I love that Shelby
{the owner of the kitchen and a reader of the cottage mix
shared her sources.
Like her faucet...
how much do you think this faucet is?
Looks pretty pricey right?
Especially as it sits atop a Rohl farmhouse sink right?
Well the sources listed it as coming from Home Depot.
No way I thought.
So I asked the question in the comments section of Lauren's blog
and Shelby was kind enough to share that it was called "Glacier Bay"
I looked it up online...sure enough
Glacier Bay Lyndhurst 2-Handle Bridge Kitchen Faucet with Side Sprayer in Brushed Nickel-67136-2004 at The Home Depot
there it was on for...
drumroll please...
It looks very similar to this Rohl faucet
{but at a tenth of the price}
Rohl 3 Leg Bridge Country Kitchen Faucet~ (switch to 5 spoke handle) ♥
I hope to place my sink/faucet order before week's end.
Stay tuned to see what I finally pull the trigger on.

  1. Will be eager to hear your comments on the Caesarstone after you have had it for awhile...we are redoing the kitchen in the next year or so and I am not sold on granite, love the look of marble but don't want the stress of ruining it, and don't want formica. Your new kitchen is going to be GORGEOUS!!!!!
