beauty product junkie...

I've been meaning to share a few products
that I fell in love with over the summer.
I should start by saying that I don't think
you have to spend a ton of money on products.
I really don't.
I'm not saying I haven't bought some pricey potions
because I've fallen for the gimmicky advertisements...
you know the ones that claim
buy xyz {for $$$} and you'll look fifteen again.
Let's face it...I do not look fifteen.
I'm just trying to maintain and enjoy what I have.
After 40 things certain things start to happen.
Some aren't so pretty.
But I'm not going down without a fight
and neither is my skin.
So I've tried $ to $$$ and everything in between.
But honestly I find myself coming back to the same ones
or at least the same brands.
I'm pretty faithful to Neutrogena products.
I picked this up on a whim
I like to alternate this
I'm pretty faithful with using something at night.
I keep telling my younger sisters
that prevention is the best medicine
when it comes to wrinkles.
To me there is nothing better than a retinol product for anti-aging.
I tell them to use one now in their thirties
Or regret it down the road in their forties.
I've been using this serum in the morning...
Neutrogena Ageless Intensives Deep Wrinkle. Retinol SA is the Best Type of Retinol you can get in a Drugstore product. Only 2 anti-aging Ingredients have been Scientifically proven to repair collagen and prevent wrinkles. Retinol and Alpha Hydroxy Acids. Look For Retinol SA in your products!!
for a few months now
I truly have noticed a difference...
I had these little bumps under the skin,
not acne but some sort of something
and those went away once I started using this.
It glides on smoothly and sinks in completely.
It feels like a primer to me...
because once I usually put it on under my "foundation"-
Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enchancer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 - Fair to Light
via target
love love love this stuff!
It is a 3 in 1 wrinkle fighting machine.
Retinol + SPF 20 + sheer tint
Its just enough color to even my skin tone out
and does not feel like a heavy mask.
At around ten bucks I love it even more.
And probably the best thing I've done all summer for my skin
{besides lots of water}
is this oldie but goodie...
Leaves your skin feeling silky without the heavy feel of lotion. Neutrogena Body Oil
the best moisturizer.
After you get out of the shower or bath
towel off until your skin is still slightly wet...
this stuff sinks right in to your skin
and feels soft all day long.
Its not thick and heavy like a lotion
and not oily as you might suspect.
I use it every day without fail.

What about you?
Do you have any favorites to share?
Because you know me...
I'm a beauty product junkie.
